For Fun

Open House
The grand opening of our new offices at our renovated building was on Friday, March 16, 2007.  Approximately 85 people attended throughout the day. Refreshments were served and a raffle was held.  We thank everyone who helped us to make this day very special and memorable for us.

The Original Work Truck

This 1974 International pickup has a long history of usefulness and enjoyment.  This pickup was originally purchased new by Shane’s grandfather for use on his farm in Tracy, Minnesota.  Shane spent many summers there during his childhood and lived on the farm from ages 14-16.  His grandmother gave him this truck as his first vehicle when he moved back to Rochester at age 16.  It was his only vehicle for awhile, and then eventually it was his work truck.  He finally retired it as a work vehicle in 1992 and began a restoration project on it that took nearly 2 years.  He still drives it occasionally but mostly it rests.

When not hard at work…we like to ride!

Both Shane and our receptionist, Mary, drive Harley Davidson motorcycles. Janet is usually just a passenger but is mugging it up for the camera here.

The other employees

The smallest Schumann’s sometimes work for the company as well.  Tyler works with his Dad during the summers and he is also our computer person for the office.  Tyler is in 9th grade at Pal-Mac High School and has been interested in computers and electronics all his life.  He set up all of our office computer systems and networking.  (photo to follow).  Jenna helps out Mom with the filing and likes to come to the office on days off from school.  She is a 6th grader at Pal-Mac middle school.

Here’s Shane blowing off a little steam…and tire tread!  This truck has power!!
